Recall Designs calls are made from a variety of materials that maximize the sound quality of our products while ensuring exceptional durability. When buying, you’ll need to choose between noble woods, acrylic and delrin. Each of these materials has its own particularities, offering a complete range of sounds within your budget.
Wood
This noble, living material offers the most realistic, natural tones, with greater sound absorption than synthetic materials. Wooden calls are ideal for final approaches, on days when there’s an echo, or when birds are very wary.
Acrylic
This very hard synthetic material is available in a wide variety of colors. With near-zero sound absorption, it renders calls accurately. Acrylic is ideal for almost any situation. Because they create more volume, acrylic calls are ideal for long-distance calls, especially on windy days or when you need to be very insistent with game to persuade it to come to you.
Delrin
This is a more affordable synthetic material than the previous two. Extremely durable, it offers an attractive alternative to acrylic. With a sound quality somewhere between wood and acrylic, delrin is an all-purpose material for almost any hunting situation.

Created by hand and then manufactured in production, Recall Designs calls are digitally machined at our plant in Lanaudière, Quebec (Canada). Our state-of-the-art machinery ensures that the quality of our products meets Recall Designs standards, without affecting the selling price. We even have a laser engraver so we can customize your bird calls to your taste.
