A man and his dream
My passion for hunting was passed down to me by my father when I was very young. A skilled sculptor, I initially began crafting game calls for my own enjoyment and to meet my hunting needs. It wasn’t until the early 2000s that Recall Designs was born, when I decided to launch my business after winning several custom call-making competitions in the United States and Canada.
The quality of Recall Designs’ products and services quickly became apparent! Today, Recall Designs is proud to offer a complete line of custom calls and accessories for hunting North American game. Recall Designs takes pride in ensuring the success of every one of your hunting trips!

Stéphane Paradis
Born in Victoriaville, Quebec, I got my hunting license at a young age so I could borrow my father’s 12-gauge shotgun and go into the woods. I wanted to learn to recognize every trail I could find and every animal sound I could hear. I quickly discovered that it was much easier to call animals than to track them. I moved to Ontario to begin my teaching career in 1989. In 2010, my passion for hunting was rekindled when I heard about coyote hunting. It was the perfect opportunity to reconnect with my childhood passion. Using the best calls available on the market has greatly contributed to my success here in Eastern Ontario.
Simon Lachapelle
I am proud to have been born in the suburbs of Mascouche. From a very young age, my father passed on his passion for hunting to me. From father to son, we teach our children the art of hunting, as well as the art of calling. I am proud to be part of the Recall Designs team, a company with a kind-hearted man I have known for over 20 years now.
P.A Dasty
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always been drawn to hunting, fishing, and the outdoors in general. Even before I could read, I spent my free time leafing through hunting and fishing magazines with equal curiosity and interest in every topic they covered. One day, I stumbled upon an article about waterfowl hunting, and that was the turning point. Without ever having had the opportunity to learn, I knew deep down that this was my kind of hunting.
Born at the confluence of the St. Lawrence River and the major rivers on Montreal’s eastern tip, without a mentor, I’ve been honing my passion for waterfowl hunting, one skill at a time. For me, this passion is contagious. Each season, I strive to share my love of this activity with my family and friends so they can benefit from the knowledge and secrets I’ve acquired the hard way over these many years. Calling is one of the aspects of this hunt that I love most, so it gives me great pleasure to join the ranks of this company, which I’ve long considered my partner. I’ve always said that it wasn’t me who chose Recall Designs, but the birds. So I’m all the more honored that Recall Designs has chosen me. I look forward to sharing some of my contagious passion with you!
Patrick Bayard
I’m from Marieville, a small town in the Montérégie region. My passion for hunting goes back more than 30 years, and today, more passionate than ever, I hunt various game, including wild turkey, moose, migratory birds, and deer, which is undoubtedly my favorite. I’m constantly preparing, setting up, scouting, and inventorying the deer in my hunting areas. It is with great pride that I join the Recall Designs team to represent this wonderful company and its high-quality products.
Martin Galarneau
I grew up on Montreal’s South Shore and from a young age was introduced to fishing and hunting by family and friends. I’ve always been passionate about nature and wildlife. From the age of 11, I practiced hare trapping with a snare line, which I would check every morning and afternoon after school. I harvested my first deer with a bow at the age of 12 in the Eastern Townships, and I’ve been hooked ever since. The language of animals has always fascinated me.
Getting a flock of Canada geese to respond with a few “clucks” or piquing the curiosity of a large white-tailed deer in Saskatchewan with a “grunt” is always rewarding, sometimes even more so than the actual kill. Today, with over 35 years of experience, I love sharing my knowledge with people and showing them that working with the right tools can pay off, and that’s why I joined the Recall Design team, a group of passionate people.
Frédéric Vaillancourt
Year of birth: 1987 Education: Wildlife and Fisheries Management Technician from 2004 to 2007 Experience: Migratory bird hunting guide with Destination le Mirage outfitter since 2008, hunter of white-tailed deer, wild turkeys, black bears, and more… and proud representative of Recall Designs since 2011. Patrick Bourgault
Hello, my name is Patrick Bourgault. I’m from the Eastern Townships. I hunt various game such as moose, deer, bear, wild turkey, and waterfowl. I was introduced to hunting by my father when I was 9 years old. For many years, I’ve been observing and studying the behavior and daily habits of these animals. It is an honor to join the Recall Designs Custom Calls team.

Francis Deschenaux
I was born in Pierreville, a town in central Quebec, near Lake Saint-Pierre. My passion for waterfowl hunting began at a very young age, thanks to my father. Around the age of 9 or 10, my father would take me hunting, and unfortunately for him, as soon as he gave me my first call, he got tired of hearing me squawk with the very instrument he had given me. Now, he sees the success I get from the calls I make with my own calls.
Now older, I have my hunting partners. We make a great team, and we have success on our hunts, whether it’s waterfowl or field hunting. I am now proud to be part of the Recall Design custom calls team.

René Gignac
Born on the north shore of Lake St. Pierre, near the St. Lawrence River floodplain, I was introduced to the world of hunting at a very young age, thanks to my father. Whether as a guide, hunter, photographer, or cameraman, the challenge has always been the same: outsmarting the animal with a call.
Even after more than 40 years in the company of wildlife, I am still amazed by such a spectacle! I have worked in the field of calling various species, from wild turkeys and coyotes to crows and migratory birds, since the 1990s as a hunting professional. Jessey Auger-Cadieux
I come from Abitibi, a region known for moose hunting, but I took a different path. I started waterfowl hunting in the marshes at the age of 17. The first shot ignited my passion, but the following year, the call of the fields beckoned. Knowing no one who hunted in the fields, I got equipped and learned through trial and error.
Now I’m quite good at it. In 2009, my brother, some friends, and I created the Flying Death Team. We’re a team that films our hunts. I’m really happy to be part of the Recall Designs Custom Calls team.
Francis Robidoux
My name is Francis Robidoux, and I grew up in Ormstown in the Montérégie region of Quebec. My father introduced me to hunting when I was just three years old, and my passion for it has only grown since then.
Every hunt brings its share of emotions, but coyote hunting definitely gives me the biggest adrenaline rush. Nothing compares to bringing a predator in with mouth calls. I recently became a coyote hunting guide, and I’m passionate about this animal. It’s with great pleasure that I join the Recall team. No matter the situation, remember: Call ’em, Shoot ’em, Then Recall!
Francis Daoust
Born in the suburbs of Montreal, more precisely in Howick, my passion for waterfowl hunting was sparked one morning by a group of hunters who had come to hunt on my family’s land. Gunshots rained down, as did the birds. Little by little, I began to practice this sport on my own, and now, at 22, I’m part of Recall Designs Custom Call, a team of waterfowl hunters all dedicated to this wonderful sport.
Kim Grenier
It is with immense pleasure that I join the Recall Designs team! Passionate about nature and wildlife, I have worked as a hunting guide for several years. My role is to accompany hunters, ensure their safety, and share environmentally responsible hunting practices. I organize outings, locate game, and ensure that each experience is unique and ethical.
This profession demands rigor, patience, and in-depth knowledge of the territory. Every day spent in the forest is an opportunity for learning and sharing. Being a hunting guide means living in harmony with nature while sharing a deeply rooted passion.
Wiliam Archibald
My name is William Archibald, founder of Moose Calling 101. I am passionate about hunting, especially moose calling, and about sharing the practical knowledge I’ve gained through my experience in the bush. My goal is to help hunters improve their skills, gain confidence, and pass on outdoor traditions to the next generation. For me, hunting has always been more than a hobby; it’s a way of life built on patience, discipline, respect for nature, and continuous learning. Through my content, videos, and teaching, I aim to bring people together through education, entertainment, and an authentic outdoor culture. My mission is to grow the hunting community, inspire others to pursue their goals, and represent this way of life in a positive light, all while combining traditional knowledge with modern media.
Louis Simoneau
My name is Louis Simoneau, and I have been passionate about hunting since a very young age. I used to spend time on the shores of the St. Lawrence River in Montmagny hunting ducks and snow geese. I also became familiar with small game hunting and hiking through the forest at an early age. Deer and moose hunting came later for me, followed by turkey hunting. Today, I hunt all types of game and use every style of game call. I love calling different species, and I am a proud ambassador for Recall Designs, a well-established company that has been operating in Quebec, Canada for 25 years.
Michael Descheneau
A native of central Quebec along the majestic St- Lawrence River, I’m deeply rooted in my values and respect for others, with a strong connection to nature. I approach every project with calm, consistency, and discipline. Passionate about the language of all game animals, my calls are never far away—most often hanging around my neck.
